Always in season...
I'm not usually a fan of frozen, prepared seafood, but I took the bait and tried the panko breaded soft-shell crabs. Six to a box for around $16.99. They didn't last long at my house. College boy had 2 for lunch...then 2 more the next day and the next. They were fabulous! We love them at our favorite Village restaurant, but they're not always available, so this is a great substitute. I sauteed them in an olive oil/butter mix for about 3 minutes on each side and they were gone in an instant!

i was getting a "tour" of Bunny's fridge & pantry last week (costco items) & the softshell crabs were one of things she highly recommended, too. i'll have to try them. Thanks for the reminder! Tell College Boy hello for me!
